It really does...
The DS is the definition of how a succesful system should be.
Nintendo DS is the system with the most third party support. It has more support from third party than the console systems.
Yeah, it has a lot of casual, but, it also has a lot of hardcore. The DS, together with the PS2, is an example of how a succesful system should be: a lot of hardcore games plus a lot of casual games.
Too bad that this site, N4G, promotes the DS as a casual system on...
You have a very good point:
Of course, you have to take it in conjunction with the other story:

The Wii is "down" (between 40k and 50k every week, compared to 12k of the PS3) in Japan, but up everwhere else, quite substantially in fact, as the link shows.
They ar...
And a lot of people in this site still say that Nintendo doesn't sell software.
They just increased the production from 1.8 million per month to 2.4 million.
Thats a 600,000 of increase.
It was reported even here in N4G.
Please, read the full story...
The title is sarcasm. =p
Nintendo just released the Q109 results:

There are still a lot of games coming this year for the Wii, that can be considered hardcore or not shovelware.
We have The Conduit, Fatal Frame 4, Wario Land, Tales of Symphonia, Disaster: Day of Crisis, Fragile: Farewell Ruins of the Moon (this is the title I'm waiting more, actually), Oboro Muramasa, Samba de Amigo, Mushroo...
Sorry, but Kingdom Hearts series is not Sony exclusive.
Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories was released before Kingdom Hearts II. And it was for a Nintendo system. And there is a Kingdom Hearts game in development for the DS.
But you know the reason why both Kingdom Hearts I and II were released for the PS2: because the huge install base...
... but that's not the case anymore.
Yes, Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo's Dungeon for the Wii is very good. I just bought the game last week.
A lot of developers don't make roguelikes RPG's anymore. If you like roguelikes, you should also try Shiren the Wanderer for the DS or Wii... any version is good.
"Level 5 only makes game for sony platform so i don't see why not, and the same goes for nis."
Improbable.
Level 5 is the developer of Professor Layton series, both Curios Village and Pandora's Box (published by Nintendo by the way), and also Inazuma and of course, Dragon Quest IX... all this games for the Nintendo DS.
And Level 5 is currently developing a new Professor Layton game.
And about Nis, they just partnered with N...
Looks very good.
The combat system looks kinda like Elite Beat Agents.

Every online service on the 360 is free. Demos, videos, chat, leaderboards, downloads, videochat, etc.
The only missing feature if you dont have Gold is online play. Every other service is free.
Everything?
They still have a lot of proven franchises that havent been released: Pikmin, Animal Crossing, F-Zero, Star Fox, The Legend of Zelda Wii (Twilight Princess was a GC port and launch title), Wario (this is alredy confirmed), Kirby, Donkey Kong, Kid Icarus...
Plus, they are working in three new IP's: Captain Rainbow and Disaster: Day of Crisis and Project Hammer (it was suspended, and is in development again).
And Nintendo is the publisher...
Disgaea 3 and Valkyria Chronicles were already released in Japan... months ago.

Do you know the function of the sensor bar?
The Wii remote works with Bluetooth. The sensor bar is just a pair of infrared lights, and the camera inside the remote detects those lights to use the IR Pointer.
The sensor bar is only to use the pointer functions. The camera is that little black window at the top of the remote.
The rest of the connectivity (buttons, analog stick, d-pad, motion) works with Bluetooth.
